From the bedroom windows of our Discovery Hotel Panorama you have a clear view of the imposing Plan de Corones. At an elevation of 2,275 m, this broad, cone-shaped summit in the majestic Dolomites is considered the number # 1 skiing area in the region. With no less than 30 modern gondolas and ski lifts and with slopes of all difficulty levels totalling 115 km, skiing on the Plan de Corones means having a great time on the slopes. This is as true for families with children and beginners, as well as for freestylers — and dare-devil professionals; those who can’t get enough of the black ski runs!

Thanks to a regular ski-bus that stops just two-minutes away on foot, our Discovery Hotel Panorama is perfectly connected to the ski complex and all its outdoor recreational facilities. As a guest of our ski hotel, you’re entitled to a 35% discount at any one of our affiliated partner services/businesses in the area.

We also recommend that you take a look at the Chienes / Kiens Tourism Association weekly program and spending a day or two in the Dolomites, for example on the Sellaronda ski circuit or on Jäger Mountain. In the neighbouring village of Falzes / Pfalzen, the kids enjoy practicing on the magic carpet and small lift, trying their first turns in a safe environment before taking on the Kronplatz for real.
